Careers Lesson Planner

Overview

Careers Lesson Planner is an independent project supporting careers education in schools. It helps teachers and careers leaders plan KS4/KS5 sessions and generate editable resources, while we evaluate how digital tools can reduce planning workload and improve programme quality.

Participation is voluntary. On sign-in, staff users see a brief explanation and can provide informed consent before using features. We do not show trial framing on the public landing page to avoid bias.

Partners

This project is led by the Institute for the Future of Work (IFOW), with collaborators from education and research. Materials are neutral and do not promote specific pathways. Branding is intentionally minimal.

We follow impartiality and balance principles and align resources with recognised frameworks (e.g., Gatsby Benchmarks). We disclose that this is an independent research project and provide routes to withdraw.
