The Institute for the Future of Work (IFOW) is committed to safeguarding all users of this website and those who come into contact with our pilot activities. Our products are staff‑facing and are designed to support teaching and learning safely.
Policies and procedures
IFOW maintains internal policies and procedures to ensure that any actual or potential safeguarding concerns relating to a child or a vulnerable adult are handled promptly and appropriately.
Platform safety measures
- Website and infrastructure security controls are in place.
- Content is reviewed to ensure it meets safety and appropriateness standards.
- AI lesson planning tools are for teachers and include guardrails that prevent the creation of illegal, harmful or inappropriate content.
- Access to tools requires sign‑in with a validated email.
- Users who repeatedly attempt to generate illegal, harmful or inappropriate content may have accounts suspended or revoked.
- Where appropriate, we notify and co‑operate with law enforcement and/or safeguarding agencies.
- We take down content deemed to be illegal, harmful or inappropriate.
Responsibilities when using resources
When using these resources, teachers should continue to follow the safeguarding policies and procedures of their educational institution. These tools are not intended for pupil accounts.
